We hope you have a wonderful Halloween. Here are some tips to help you and your family enjoy Halloween this year without any added guilt.
Be selective - while candy is generally not necessarily good for you, there are some better choices then others. Try to pick candy that has less sugar and won’t stick to your teeth.
Moderation is key - teach your kids about moderate early on, only allow 1-2 pieces of candy per day.
Eat first - before you venture out to trick-or-treat, make sure to eat a well-balanced meal.
Keep hydrated - encourage your children to keep taking sips of water in between their treats. This will help to wash down all of the bad bacteria they may have floating in their mouth.
Brush, floss, repeat - it’s extra important to brush and floss all that candy and sugar away!
